Alec started the day with his favorite...cold cereal, "can't blame him" and then got to open some presents where he got a sweet new ride! We did the classroom treat, and he requested otter-pops in the dead of winter, I love it! Then it was party time...Mario style! The boy probably thanked me no lie about 12 times for having such a great day...he's a pleaser my boy! We then had dinner with some cousins, Aunt Melinda, and Grandpa and Grandma, then it was home to make a sleeping fort in the playroom and stay up way past bedtime watching movies...thank goodness for the weekend! I love you Al the Pal, and thanks for giving Mom something to brag about!

Birthdays are always a great time to brag. I think I brag about my kids way too much, but I don't have much else in my life, so I figure I'm justified.
I can't believe that he is 7. It looks like he had a great birthday. And the otter pops thing, Elie has been asking for those like everyday since Christmas. I don't even keep them in my freezer anymore cause they are pretty much frozen just out in my garage.
how can it be? these boys of ours are 7? not a cliche anymore, it really is going too fast. sam had a great time at the party, he wore his mustache around and said,"maarrriiiioooo." cute party. Love ya big AL.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BIG AL! We love you! Love,
your big dipstick uncle Britt, Linds, H-town and Scarlett.
Sure do miss you Mug! I just want you to know I like to look at blogs, because sometimes over here I have a lot of time on my hands! Thats my disclaimer for being the only boy who will make a post on your blog. Happy B-day Al. Tell Fam what up. Love you sister.

Happy Birthday Big Al. We love you and am glad that you had a great day. You have a good one Megan. Hold on tight to him. Girls will be fighting over him in no time. :)
Cute party! Don't you love how kids appreciate the simple things in life? Mario and otter pops...and he will probably never forget this birthday for as long as he lives. Your family really calls him Al huh?
I love the fort and late night movies. I think they love things like that more than the gifts. He is a handsome one Meg!
Megs,
I finally made it to your blog. OKAY---you have the cutest background and header ever...did you do it yourself? I am so impressed. Happy Birthday to your little Al!!
